World Religions Day
World Religions Day is an annual event in Merlin College which highlights and embraces religious and cultural diversity in our School. Our third annual World Religions Day took place in 2019. Several different speakers attended on the day to speak to the students including Imam Ibrahim Noonan, Bishop Brendan Kelly, Canon Andrea Wills, Fr. Martin Glynn, Marie - Anne Michel, Mary Coogan and Karen Casey from Trócaire and Mia Joyce Walsh Youth Ministry Co-ordinator and Pope John Paul II Award representative. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about the five different major world religions. It is always a very successful day.
